QuickData is a system which allows you to work onsite on the farm, in perfect coordination with Ovitec. Now you can consult the female cards or enter daily works using a handheld computer as you do your routine work on the farm. QuickData saves time spent filling in daily forms by hand as it saves you from errors caused by lack of information. Data entered in QuickData are transferred directly to the PC database where they are checked and processed automatically. Then the reports you need to make decisions are generated.
QuickData is compatible with Pocket PC and also with Psion Workabout which is well-known as being strong reliable system.
Quickdata Features
· Entry of all female events
· Visualization and editing of any event entered
· Consultation of female card summary
· Electronic Identification optional (microchips, ruminal bolus, ...)
· Synchronization of modified females from PC
Optional Electronic Identification System
The system offers a significant improvement in data collection and management using a reliable, advanced handheld computer synchronized with the Ovitec management software.
QuickData is the substitute of the well-known card or form system, and uses a handheld computer called Psion WorkAbout, which is resistant even in extreme aggressive work environments.
When the reader is taken up close to the animal, it is automatically identified by means of a microchip placed in the animal. All the animal records are viewed immediately: reproductive, movements, treatments and notes. The system checks the physical condition of animal and validates the events entry in the history in the correct sequence (inseminations, preg. checks, births, weanings,…)
At any time, or at the end of the work day, the data are sent to the management software, via USB, Wifi or Internet.
To make a long story short, the system saves time, reduces errors, facilitates data entry, validates entries, avoids the duplicating information, warrant traceability processes, improves data reliability and gives you access to female cards onsite on the farm.
