Which reports should I run?

Porcitec contains hundreds of reports to choose from. Not all will pertain to your system of farm management or be important to you. However there are several reports that are important to most farms and we recommend you familiarize yourself with these first. Where these reports can be found in the Report Browser menu is indicated by [Report section/Folder].

Female History Cards. This report generates the individual “sow cards” that most farms like to use at the barn level. [Management/History]
Status reports: Females Weaned, Served Found not Pregnant, Unmated Females Entered. These reports help you keep track of females that should be served, or culled based on the number of days they have been “open”. [Management/Status]
Planning reports, for females that have been served and need a user-defined action at specific days post-service or pre-farrowing:  Served Heat Check, Females Due for Pregnancy Check, Females Due for Pre-Farrow, and Females Due to Farrow. [Management/Planning]
Performance Analysis: This is a powerful report that shows the overall reproductive performance of your breeding herd by time period. There is a section for service performance, farrowing performance, weaning performance, and a population section that shows specifics about your herd inventory. [Breeding Herd/Performance]
Farrowing Analysis: This is another powerful report which is specific for analyzing service performance in the herd. It tracks females from their service period through gestation to farrowing. It shows you the number of females bred in a time period, when and why they fell out of gestation, and allows you to track the number due to farrow and expected farrowing rate. [Services/Service Analysis]
