• Are there additional costs for database migration?

  No, we do not charge for database migration. Standard breeding data can typically be converted by Agritec at no cost, depending on the condition and structure of the original database. Please note that growth data is generally not included in the migration. For more details, please contact Agritec.

• Which plan is right for me?

  Our Online edition is the most popular and easiest option because it is in the Cloud. There are no installations, software updates, or backups to maintain, and it works seamlessly with our mobile app. It is simple, easy, and includes all features.
  However, if you prefer your IT department to manage the databases and servers on your own premises, the Ultimate edition has all the same features as the Online edition.
  Please check the plan matrix to know which features are included in each option.

• If my internet is not reliable at the farms, can I still use Vaquitec?

  Yes. Our mobile app can work offline for days. Record events, consult animal histories, and run basic list reports without internet. When internet becomes available, the data is synced to the Cloud database.
  If using the Ultimate plan, which is installed on your own premises, you can run reports or use the mobile app using your Wi-Fi network.

• Can I store the databases in my premises and continue using the mobile app and the web access?

  Yes, you must install a server in your premises and your Ultimate edition will have the same features as the Online plan. Please note that Agritec cannot configure or support customer networks, although we do provide basic instructions for your IT team.

• What is a Full-user?

  A full-user can access to the data using using a mobile app, web browser, or a remote desktop connection. Each user can be assigned privileges to have access to specific farms.

• When would I need to buy additional full-user licenses?

  When you want to define unique privileges to a specific user, or multiple users need to connect to the system at the same time. Several people can share the same user license if they connect at different times, however sharing the same account also means sharing privileges, logins and user customizations.

• What it is included in technical support?

  Agritec technical support covers questions regarding our software installation, data entry, features, and reports. It does not include network or hardware configurations. Technical support should not be viewed as a substitute for proper technical training.
  The following Ultimate system-related issues are not supported:
  

  • Setting up, configuring, or enabling terminal services
  • Enabling clients to connect to the server
  • User permission issues for server connections
  • Issues with terminal server connections (example: connecting to the server or dropping connection)
  • Latency or slow performance issues

• Is my data safe in the Online Plan?

  Agritec Software protects your personal information and your data. For secure transactions, we use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts your information. The encryption process protects your information by scrambling it before it is sent to us from your computer. In addition, your data is backed up automatically and is accessible from any device, so you can always stay connected and up-to-date.

• Can I manage multiple farms using the same license?

  Yes. You can add as many farms as you want, up to the total number of breeding females in your license. However you will still need a separate license for each user if you have multiple users, or databases installed on multiple computers.

• Can I use Vaquitec Online from anywhere?

  Yes, it is web based, so you only need an Internet connection and a web browser to access it.
